Our Approach:
As part of a large turnkey project approach RRS Group provided a full-time site-based project manager to undertake all site progress, health, safety, communication and project management functions. The project was multi-discipline including the civils aspects of a floor pit and foundations for the 200 T press. RRS Group worked with a civil engineer to provide floor loading calculations, drawings and the completion of the pit following press removal. Additionally, all M & E services were part of our scope including pneumatics and hydraulics, mains power and secondary wiring. All aspects of the project were successfully carried out meeting safety, budget and technical criteria at all times. We deployed a comprehensive cache of lifting and specialist moving equipment and plant from our in-house collection including our Mega Lift hydraulic lifting gantry, all specialist HGV’s from our own fleet and our skilled, trained site personnel including riggers, fitters and electricians.
